Festive Events & Fayre Frolicks
Anyone else feeling a tad overwhelmed and need another maybe 4 hours per day to make it through to Christmas?
Can’t be just me!

Chatsworth was stunning – we definitely picked the best weekend to go. It was cold, crisp and dry – perfect. Over a 100 stalls and I drank my bodyweight in hot chocolate and YES I had whipped cream and marshmallows EVERY time! One girl was sensible and put the marshmallows underneath the whipped cream – it may not look as good but it stopped them from flying around.

Anyway, I made a hat to go with my woollen coat – I got some lovely chunky wool from a new yarn shop in our local town in Haverfordwest, Randmstitch run by Mel who was really helpful when I called in there. The wool is black and anyone that knits or crochets knows that if you make something in black you should charge triple – good job it was for myself – anyway I was still hooking it on the journey up to Chatsworth.

This month will see us returned to a family of four under the same roof which I am soo looking forward to. We fetched Child 2 last week – managing a quick overnight stop whilst there and a visit to the brilliant National Trust Back to Backs – which I can fully recommend! Safe to say that the family pets were rather pleased to have him home too.

My plan, once the craft fairs are done, is to have a look at what outstanding WIP’s I have (to be fair it doesn’t look like I made a dent in the stash sinceJanuary) and work on them over Christmas – happy festive hooking to you all.
